The Novell GroupWise client upgrade and "Archive to Go" is underway. Most GroupWise client users have upgraded and are now ready to install and execute "Archive to Go." We are hoping to clarify the process instructions well enough that users will need minimal technician assistance.

A Quasar Data Center team will be on campus today (02 Dec 2014) to migrate physical servers to virtual Servers (P2V). We expect this process to take much of the week. While they are here we will also work-out some of the technical details that must be addressed to our mutual understanding.

Midland College Information Technology and Facilities - Project and Progress

Hello, 
We are starting this blog to announce and document the updates and changes taking place with the Midland College Information Technology and Facilities.  In the IT section, we are currently preparing to migrate to a private cloud, move to Microsoft Exchange and implement VDI and GPU across the campus.   For the Facilities section, we have already begun and almost completed the replacement of our exterior lighting with LED fixtures.  Next up in Facilities is the replacement of interior fluorescent lighting with LED.
